Drive by Car
Getting Here
You may wish to drive to the resort yourself, making the trip a part of your wilderness experience. Besides deer, you may also encounter bear, moose, coyotes or wolf. As you will drive on gravel roads, we strongly recommend using a SUV or cars which are high-clearance models. You can drive in from the northeast (Bridge Lake – Hwy 24), coming from Jasper/Clearwater or Kamloops through Little Fort or from the southwest (70 Mile House – Hwy 97) when driving up from Vancouver/Whistler/Clinton. Both exit points are 50 km away from our guest ranch. As an indication, it will take you an estimated 2 1/2 hours from Williams Lake/Kamloops Airport; 4 hours from Whistler, 5-7 hours from Jasper, Lake Louise or Banff and 5-6 hours from Vancouver International Airport.
Note: Your pre-arrival package will contain a detailed map with useful information and clear directions to our resort.
Regional Airports
Vancouver International Airport (YVR) is the closest big airport to our guest ranch but alternatively, you could also use Calgary International Airport (YYC). Both destinations offer commercial flights to our Regional Airports, Kamloops (YKA) or Williams Lake (YWL) which will bring you within an hour flight time closer to us.
Private Transfer from Regional Airports
You prefer to be picked up from one of the larger regional airports (Kamloops or Williams Lake) by car? We will arrange the private transfer. Both will be a 2.5 hour car drive to our guest ranch.
You may as well choose the option of a helicopter service to our ranch, combining your arrival with a beautiful sightseeing tour.

The Wolf Valley Ranch is a magnificent place all surrounded by Crown land and located on the southern limit of the Cariboo Plateau, with the Bonaparte River running through the northern corner of our property. In this unique and remote wilderness, far away from the urban bustle, we appreciate and share the natural beauty with our guests.
